Do the switches still work if the wi-fi drops out?
Yes. The physical switch on the wall continues to operate normally. App controls and smart scenes may be unavailable while the network is down, then return once your connection is restored.
Can I install a smart switch myself?
No. Replacing a wall switch is electrical work and must be completed by a licensed electrician in NSW. Doing wiring by yourself can also affect your switch warranty and home insurance. Licence 497337C is verifiable through NSW Fair Trading.
